‘The eyes are the organic prototype of philosophy. Their enigma is that they can not only see but they can also see themselves seeing. The Purkinje Tree phenomenon allows us to see our blood vessels under certain conditions. In the scientific literature, they have been described as a tree with many branches, which is why they were called the "bascular tree."

The capillaries of the eye become visible to themselves, thus creating a paradox of vision.

This involves a superposition of the visual and the experiential, of the real and the abstract that these shapes represent.

The branches establish a connection between the interior and exterior of perception: between what we see (unconsciously) and what we look at (consciously).
