Chemigram and photochemistry.

This is an experimental photography project carried out in collaboration with the Museum of Alchemy of Córdoba and the art residency Fundación Antonio Gala.

​

It conceptually links the principles and processes of ancient alchemical practice with experimental photographic techniques, reinterpreting and updating this early science through chemicals, light, and paper.

​

The images are not taken with a camera; rather, they are painted with photographic solutions. The chemical reactions themselves create these brilliant colors, sometimes resulting in golden tones on the surface.
